Driving Simulator Advanced Training Module: Risks perception module
The objective of this module is to make the driver aware and develop vigilance predicting and managing potentially dangerous situations as soon as possible :
• Driver hit by another vehicle in his lane
• Vehicle against pedest
• Late longitudinal estimate
• crossroads priority
• Driver hit from behind
• Vehicle in overtaking action
• Pedestrians, cycles, miscellaneous
• Manoeuvre on trafic light junction in a city
• Vehicle against pedest

For each driving session the following parameters can be selected :
Time: day, dusk, night;
Rain: light, average, high, changeable;
Visibility: good, average, poor, changeable;
The presence or not of an ABS.
At the end of this session, an analysis phase will allow the driver to review each situation from different angles, accompanied by an audible description of each type of event.
Driving Simulator Advanced Training Module: Darkness driving
The objective of this module is to the night driving. The driver develops the observation, the appreciation of speeds and distances, application of the rules of traffic (circulation) during the night driving.
In total interactivity and guided by the simulator, the driver discovers step by step the good use of lights and the specific risks in various situations of night driving :
• Crossing a vehicle
• Being passed;
• Passing;
• Pedestrians and others on the road;
• Standing still;
• Weather (rain, snow, fog).

Each lesson are made up of an introduction, a demonstration and a driving stage with adapted exercises.
At the end of the session, a final test will be done for each driver with several driving exercises already passed.
A personalized report is printed.
Driving Simulator Advanced Training Module: Braking and following distance
Braking :
In dangerous situation, the driver can be forced to realize an emergency braking. The module of braking has allowed to arrest the behaviour of the vehicle in situation of braking without ABS and with ABS and to introduce distance of reaction and distance of braking knowledge.
On the appearance of a signal the emergency braking can be made in various speeds, with variable state of adhesion conditions.
The simulator allows to analyze the braking quality thanks to :
• The distance of reaction display;
• The distance covered during this distance of reaction;
• The distance of braking;
• The distance of stop;
• The deceleration curve.
• The distance covered during this distance of reaction;

Following distance :
In this exercise it is requested to the driver to drive to 90km and to follow a van and a truck by maintaining safety distances.
Due to his speed, the driver has to maintain between his vehicle and the other one which precedes it a distance of safety in order to apply the two seconds rule.
